In this menu item I would like to introduce you to churches from my immediate surroundings around Frankfurt. The area has some ecclesiastical treasures (optics) to offer, which I would like to introduce to you over time (visits)! Have fun looking!

Die evangelische Stadtkirche in Babenhausen / Hessen (Wohnort Dzimi). Links das Rathaus und rechts ein Restaurant. Der Stadtkern ist vorwiegend nach hessischem Fachwerk geprägt. Die katholische St. Josef Kirche ist nur ca. 300 Meter weiter (Bilder folgen).

Another kind of monastic way of life for me is the community of Betania. The members of the monastery live their deep, spiritual and, for me, pious life in a modern community.
Personally, I particularly like the monastery's feeding of the poor.

Römer in Frankfurt, the historic central square in the city. There is always something going on there & there are great cafés (also Frankfurt-style) or super ice cream parlors!
