– Origin & Socialization
I was born in Langen (Hessen) in October 1980. My parents named me Džimi, and I was baptized a Roman Catholic in November of the same year at the Croatian mission in Frankfurt am Main.

My parents successfully ran two German-Croatian restaurants in Zellhausen (Mainhausen) for over 25 years. I attended elementary school and then secondary school (Realschule) in the regular time frame. I then obtained the general higher education entrance qualification (vocational high school) in 2000.
Family vacation (about 1988) in Yugoslavia, Brela with dad, mom, brother, and Dzimi (youngest) ;-) Car: Mercedes E-Class from the 80s ;-)
- School & University -
Due to my parental upbringing, I enjoyed dealing with commercial and IT issues. I then decided to study business informatics at the University of Applied Sciences in Trier, graduating in 2007 with a Master's degree in business informatics (FH) in Kufstein, Austria.
Parallel to my studies, I worked continuously in my parents' business (also in Kufstein). I also worked in leading European banks (Luxembourg, Frankfurt & Munich) on projects for the banks' information technology.

Before I received my diploma (October 2007), I got a job at a DAX bank. Shortly before my graduation, I suffered the first stroke of fate (the death of my mother). I resigned in the spring of 2008 and decided to walk the Way of St. James!

I walked from Germany to Spain and ended my journey to Santiago de Compostela in Barcelona, entirely mentally exhausted. - .
Then came the second stroke of fate, which lasted around seven years with a health rehabilitation period, before I started working again as a refugee helper (2015) in Darmstadt!
