In this menu item I would like to introduce you to churches from my immediate surroundings around Frankfurt. The area has some ecclesiastical treasures (optics) to offer, which I would like to introduce to you over time (visits)! Have fun looking!

The Protestant town church in Babenhausen / Hessen (Dzimi's place of residence), which was once dedicated to St. Nicholas. The town hall on the left and a restaurant on the right. The town center is predominantly characterized by Hessian half-timbered houses. The Catholic St. Josef Church is only about 300 meters away (pictures to follow).
Aschaffenburg Monastery Church.
Franciscan Community of Bethany
Another kind of monastic way of life for me is the community of Betania. The members of the monastery live their deep, spiritual and, for me, pious life in a modern community.
Personally, I particularly like the monastery's feeding of the poor.

Römer in Frankfurt, the historic central square in the city. There is always something going on there & there are great cafés (also Frankfurt-style) or super ice cream parlors!
